Thank you very much for your help with identifying these I was considering trying the turkey tail but they were all bunched together in one bag so i'm deciding against it. Next time I will take a picture of where its at in nature then afterwards as well I didn't really think of doing that till now haha. So the brown nipples are the least tasty, shows how much I know >.< which one was the unknown by the way?

It is supposed to be raining for the next 5-6 days so I am going to get back out there after that downpour and hopefully be able to come up with some beautiful fruiting bodies that you lovely people can help me with

So I just got my first field guide called Mushrooms of the Southest by Todd F. Elliot and I also purchased Psylocibin Mushrooms of the World by Paul Stammets that will be arriving shortly. Is there any other good recommendations for field guides for the Georgia/Southeast area that you guys can think of ? Gotta get my knowledge upppp!

Peterson and Audubon field guides are good to have also. Careful they’re addictive.

I saw the Audubon books on amazon and I was thinking about getting them. I should probably read both of these ones I have before I get that so I don't read a few pages between each book only haha x) But hey knowledge is addictive! Currently i'm trying to learn about the genus and different toxins so I know which ones to avoid rather than which ones to eat.
