You don’t need a supporter account to use the picture uploader. It might be a little slow, though.

Finally got a rain around here. Unfortunately the actual season is about over.
The first hunt the day after the rain was nothing special. I checked out a new spot I’d had my eye on. Found a few there but nothing substantial.
While hunting my phone spontaneously started playing ‘fairies wear boots’ by black sabbath. Fuck it, I let it play and took it as a sign.
The second day after the rain was more lucrative.
These were picked in my neighborhood.

(I just noticed the one blueing in the picture just now.)
After that hunt I went on a bike ride to my next locale. The metro.
I parked my bike and went a hunting.
The areas that were shitting foes before were now plentiful with lawn pans. Hella nice specimens too.
This is actually pretty common during the season. The foes tip their hat and the lawn pans come in doing the chorus line dance.
I even took a situation shot of some that were monstrous.

These things were and are fucking huge.
Here’s some close-ups of them. As you can see, definitely not foes.
I don’t know if Ive ever seen them this big before.
I’ve seen them short and fat but this was a whole new thing.

I had to wait to the next day for a visual inspection of my finds because I went a drankin.
Here’s what the total haul looked like.
Found a couple of puffballs too. They make a good additive to eggs.
I then seperated them into catagories. Fatties; stemmies; regulars; bluers; and there were a couple that were so maggot infested they got quarantined.
Since the fatties have already been posted, here’s the stemmies
here’s the regular folk.

And my personal favorites, the bluers.
They had to be broken into two groups to be documented because there was so many. Group 1
 Group 2
This one had a black abort pin at it’s base.
There’s always a star of the show, and Id have to say it was this one.
 Here’s her close-up.
This is something I’ve noticed for years. Sometimes there is a distinct concave bowl shape to the gills. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it on foes, and not every lawn pawn has it. It might be of importance. I tried to visually document it.

PM me if you are interested in helping me with my research, I am currently studying the Genus Panaeolus with particular interests in the Panaeolus cinctulus group, I would like to compare them with collections I've already received from both dung and grass collections.

Whats the general potency of these compared to psilo cyans or psilo cubensis? Just curious.

A general dose is about 5 grams. The trip is much more mellow than (Don’t know about cyans, never done em) cubensis and not nearly as visual. But they will shroom you the fuck out. They have almost a narcotic kind of high. I think it might be due to them being heavy on beocystin(i don’t know if I spelled that right).
They’re more managable than cubensis. I had a tendency to go out to the bars on them, they don’t have a bad interaction with alcohol, IMO.

The season is finally coming to a close. The foes are starting to come back and the lawn pans are beginning to dwindle.
The first batch is from a locale that I had been keeping an eye on because I had a good feeling about it. It had a small flush going on.

It wasn’t a bad area. Got some bluers too.

Close up on the blueing.

I made another trip down to my metro spot.
It was nothing too substantial, but I am not complaining.
The haul.

The bluers

Close up on the blueing.

Well, season’s over. Time to get back to other pursuits and also sample the fruits of my labor.
Till next time.....
