The seed spacing looks a bit whispy. I'm learning myself currently and the varieties I'm playing with have more densly bunched seeds. How do the blades feel? The phalaris sp your looking for will have abrasive blades with no hair or fine fuzz. A close up the the blade were it meets the stalk would help with a positive ID too. This is one I'm working with now with what seem to be good results.

It very well could be a variety of phalaris don't get me wrong. I researched the topic for days on end and looking at Google image results convoluted things a lot. There's YouTube videos of university professors doing grass IDs for students, gov write ups on it as an invasive species and such. Those were my best resources when I gave up on just trying to look at pics. Happy hunting.
