So here they are, a few tiny spore prints.

Also the blueing is very apparent now in several photos. I've gotten just about 10 grams wet from it. It started pouring heavily last night and I thought everything would abort so I just plucked everything I could see. But this morning I went to check if the rain had done too much damage and there are new pins everywhere! If you zoom you can see them all over!

Looks like tomorrow is gonna be a good day π here's some more pics of the first fruits to pop up over the last few days.

This was insanely easy guys. I seriously just took 3lb of rye spawn and layered it with unpasteurized straw straight off the bale and black kow straight from the bag. Gave it a good spray down and let it go. The first pins were almost exactly 3 weeks from laying the bed. I've also laid a new Pan. Cyan Jamaica bed next to this one to see if I can replicate the results or if I just got lucky. But the spawn in that bed is already recovering beautifully and looking like it's going to take nicely. If you live in a Tropical climate and have been having a hard time growing Pan. Cyan indoors I highly suggest you give this a try!

Yeah when youβre used to cubes the level of wetness pans like seems scary.
I had saved pics of other peopleβs grows where there were almost puddles on the surface to compare with mine when I thought it was too wet.
Hopefully those are all the type you spawned and no wild ones mixed in.

Yeah I had the same thought. I've been checking each one for some kind of blueing at least. I'm hoping after the bed is truly fully colonized I'll get some bigger nicer fruits.

Just a little update on the bed. I've been collecting about 20-40g fresh from it daily since it started fruiting! She's really putting out a lot of fruits, I just wish they were a little bigger! The Pan Jam bed it getting close to being heavily colonized, I'll probably see fruits from that one in a week or 2. Overall this seems like a project with a lot of potential. I'm planning to make like a big roofed set of shelves I could stack like 4 beds on so they'll all be protected from the rain a bit at least. I think if I actually pasteurized the straw it would do much better as well.

Yeah Saturday I made tea with 20g fresh and lemon tekked 1.5g dry. I'm very impressed with these little guys. I posted about it in the pan/copelandia thread.

The 2nd bed, made with pan cyan Jamaica is now pinning too after about 2 weeks!

Looks like this is easily replicable and a project with some real potential.

Do you have a tek that you followed or did you just wing it? I recently got a pan cyan print and read through Asura's tek but it seemed a little intimidating, whereas I've had a lot of success with outdoor cubes without even really trying (dumped sketchy spawn and covered with leftover coir and that's it)

Good job! I'm definitely going to give this a shot. Are you watering or spraying to keep it wet?

So all you did was lay some straw over a wild patch to keep it moist? That is super simple!

Another update on the beds guys! Things are going great! The Jamaice bed is not fruiting too and has pins all over, I should get my first harvest from it in the next few days! Pics:

I'm also still getting daily harvests from the original bed and today looks like it's going to be the biggest one yet! They're everywhere! Pics:

I'm gonna let that one go til this afternoon before I pick anything, I'm hoping for some bigger fruits. Especially from the Jamaica bed. I just made some estero spawn and I'll be using that for a bed in a sheltered location.

Can you comment further on the temperature and humidity where you live? Also, have you been watering the bed at all? Or have you completely left it alone since you initially made it?
