First of all, you won't normally find Panaeolus cyanescens in woods, unless there is manure from herbivores present.

Secondly, these don't look even close to that species. What you have here is likely a species of Marasmius.

Welcome to the Shroomery.

I agree. Definitely not Panaeolus. I too was thinking Marasmius or Xeromphalina.

Thanks lol I clearly have no idea.
Just because of the blue bruising and white stem I believed it to be psychedelic.

That's actually not blue bruising.

Oh really, I understand most of the stems are blue in these pics, if any white part of the stem is squeezed it comes up blue within 2-3 seconds, this isn't blue bruising?

I'm thinking Xeromphalina. Notice the bluish stems in these specimens. It's not blue bruising when the stems were already blue

Yep true, looks like it. If I pressed th white parts of the stem it did turn blue, but yeah I understand the stems are predominantly blue. Thanks anyway, it was only my first time looking, I'll take it into account next time.

Melbourne, Australia. I was actually looking for Psilocybe subaeruginosa, which I've heard a few people had found around my area.
