Psilocybe Subaeruginosa hunters

Hi guys,
I am fairly new to hunting and had a noob question.
Do you guys go deep into the pine/eucalyptus forests to find a good batch or just walk along the mapped pathways on google maps and look on the edge of the forest.

Good patches just happen, right time right place kind of thing. I assume you are wanting to find a spot. When i look i look at both types you mentioned, outskirts and interior. It can be often difficult to wander from the track though. Edges are good but a nice hidden/obscure patch is much better and rarer.

Mushrooms usually thrive in shaded areas where the humidity is likely to be higher.
Try looking in thickets, underneath shrubs, in hollows or hillsides that are less subject
to direct sunlight.

thanks for the tips guys. I have spent hours walking on the tracks built for off road vehicles along the forest and am just a bit afraid of going in deep in the forests especially because i am hunting alone. I will keep a look out for the places you guys mentioned and hope to find something in my hunt tomorrow.
