Psilocin and psilocybin primarily bind with serotonin receptor proteins -- although there may be some affinity for other receptor proteins as well (I'm not sure, and I don't think anybody is)...
A. Muscaria contains muscarine which I believe binds with a muscarinic sub-type of acetylcholine receptor...
That's all I can tell you, from memory. I'm sure there are many here who are sharper on the current state of these things then I am...

Yeah, they (psilocin and psilocybin) are basically best known as 5-HT receptor ligands. I believe activity at the 2A subtype is supposed to be correlated with hallucinogenic activity.
