Isnβt it already in a tub?
Just trim the liner and set the lid on top.

OP, I'm in a similar position. Right now I got Amazonian and GT shoebox colonizing Coco Coir Verm mix day 5. I didn't use the trash bag or whatever form of plastic you're using there. So I can visually observe day to day how much of the bulk substrate is being colonized. Currently the GT is in the lead. However that's because my GT spent more time in the jar with WBS than the Amazonian which I inoculated like...a good 3 weeks after. Amazonian colonized WBS way faster than the GT but there could be many reasons for that.

Yes Itβs in a small tub with 2in of space from the lid Iβve read some ppl just go straight to fruiting and others wait till it pins almost 2 weeks so Iβm just like idk witch way lol ππΌππΌ Also was thinking if it was ready for βFAEβ would be good to have more space for them to grow and I could add the perlite ?

It looks like youβre using a shoebox, check out the teks.
Most tubs will be fine fruiting with just the regular lid on or maybe flipped upside down.
Just trim that bag to let the air in. When I run PE in shoeboxes I leave the liner on until itβs done consolidating then trim it to fruit.

How much space do you normally have between your lid and consolidating?

How long did the cake take to colonize?
Actually looking back at the pictures Iβm pretty sure itβs oyster. Or at least not cubes.
The yellow coloring in the jar and the pins are all pretty oyster like.
Whereβd you get spores? For some reason itβs pretty common to get sent gourmets.

lol itβs like a Tamps/oyster hybrid.
Oyster is so aggressive if a few spores got into the syringe or substrate they can take over.
Just make sure to let them know but donβt say how you know. They just βlooked like oyster spores under my microscopeβ
