First pin on agar plus contam pics/questions

So I’ve got my first pin on agar, am I right I’m assuming that I want to transfer this little guy to a new agar plate?
Also are some pics from my last agar to agar transfer. This is transfer number four and I lost several plates due to PC water actually filling up my agar plates and turning over a few more causing unlevel agar. Now on top of this a few have what I assume are contams leaving me with only 2 good transfer four plates. So is this cloudy stuff surrounding my nice mycelium a contaminant? Whatever it is, it has actually turned my deep blue agar red! Now my transfer wedges were red agar but this other growth is way off of the wedge. Very weird. Just posting to confirm and get info on what I’m looking at here, learning new stuff every day. Thanks.

Yes, you can pick up that pin and transfer to a new plate to make a clone.
The other plate looks like it got some white mold. You probably could take a transfer from the mycellium furthest away (2 o'clock section in 3rd pic) but depending on how many other plates you got, might just want to just trash or compost it.
As far as plates overturning in the PC... try raising them about 2 inches from the bottom using jar lid rings, foil, and/or the trivet and pour water to just below the plates. Cover them with foil if you aren't already, too.
-------------------- I know I'm a fool, but that's why I keep trying to learn.

I also have some 3-year Cambodian prints to get rid of. DM me if interested

Yeah the PC situation was strange. Did everything the same as I had the 3 previous times. How that much water could go through the tin foil, past the folded paper towel, through the micro pore tape and completely fill my plates is crazy. Water level was just barely to th bottom of the plates. Had the trivet sitting on a single layer of mason jar lids.
