I just bought a Sofirn SP36 BLF, its a 6000 lumen flashlight, it arrives in Augest, cost me $70, skip this video to 4:47 - 5:10 he is shining a normal LED flashlight and then turns on the Sofirn, its crazy, its like brighter then high beams, I cant wait till mine comes, I dont know why amazon takes 2 months to ship it

Hello!
Thanks for choosing sofirn products. As the worldwide situation is still not stable, especially for US and Canada, and some packages are even missing now, we are not sure how long the package you ordered will take.
As SP36 Anduril, SP31V2.0 will are waiting for Customs Clearence in Canada which will be sent to amazon within 10 days, we recommend you to wait for them, and then we could arrange it shipped by amazon.ca . The lead time of delivering a package is much shorter than shipping from China.
Please show us your opinion: 1, Apply for a refund by your side, then we will accept it and send you a refund. 2, Wait for the coming SP36Anduril KIT.
Regards! Vivi

I wouldn't buy one for brightness personally but $70 (at least CAD) you can get some sick rechargable waterproof ones with a decent luminosity. I have one I spent $50 on and I've had it for years, use it all the time. A rechargable flashlight is a godsend, I tell ya hwat

I've been trying to find a reasonably strong pocket flash light I won't instabreak.
But so far everyone I've tried either isn't bright enough/wide enough or I instabreak it

good news I got this message today
Quote:
Message from seller Sofirn:
Hi Gopher,
Thanks for purchasing sofirn products. We are glad to inform you that SP36 Anduril is in amazon.ca warehouse now, and recommend you to apply for canceling this order which will be shipped from China, and to purchase SP36 Anduril fulfilled by amazon.ca , so that you do not need a long wait and non-stable delivery.
If any questions, please kindly let us know!
Regards! Vivi
So I cancelled my order and reordered it and now it arrives on Wednesday, If I wanted to use my free trial of prime I could have gotten it tomorrow, but I have been saving that forever now, Ill probably never end up using the free trial lol, but wednesday is good enough, I also could have gotten it Monday if I payed $8 shipping, but I chose the free shipping method, A lot of the time my Amazon orders come early so I hope that happens this time, Im pretty excited about this flashlight
the cancellation request I sent for the other one didnt go through, I think it just takes time, but even if it dosnt getting a second flashlight in August isnt the worst thing

I have a few really high powered flash lights. Back when I was a junkie they were one of the hottest items to boost cuz dealers will take a good brand high powered flashlight for a few points of meth or heroin or whatever. Hard drug dealers are cool cuz you can barter with them using items you don’t even need money to get high... anyway.
I ended up with a few really good ones I kept. One of my faves is my Cree UltraFire, it runs off those big 3.7V 3000mah+ batteries, has a whopping 5000 lumens with adjustable spread. It’s blindingly bright.

I have one of those too and it takes 6 AAs. That's like... as bad as my gamegear.
Also don't have the bike mount for it anymore.
Been browsing a couple pocket lights. Water proofing and impact rating is what I'm looking at but don't entirely understand what the rating means for either.

Ive gone thro a number of flash lights in years and the one i carry now is by energiser

its cheap, shock proof and reasonably powerful.

I've been reading some stuff from flashlight aficionado and apparently the type of batteries you put in it will have an effect of the lumens you get out of it.
That got into deeper breakdowns that I didn't really understand.
But that is specifically the type of light I'm looking for. Something I won't break, something I can carry in my pocket all the time, but is strong enough to see bears further up the trail if I need to walk through the bush in a pinch (as happens sometimes. I'm pretty comfortable in the woods but walking alone in the dead of night with an under powered/malfunctioning flashlight is the stuff of horror movies.)

I ordered a 2 pack of tactical waterproof flashlights at 1k lumens from Bezos Bazaar. It's honestly too bright for me, and it runs on an 18650 li battery. Look into something like that maybe?

Take it into a closet. Should be pretty bright in there. Where was it made?
I just bought a waterproof lime green Dorcy flashlight. Its not super bright but it is waterproof and floats! (its for my jetski and camping).

I think it was made in china, if you read the 2 emails I posted originally I was supposed to get one straight from china, but the manufactuer told me to cancel the order and rebuy it cause amazon just got some in canada, so Instead of getting it at the end of august, I got next day shipping (I chose the free shipping which was supposed to take a week, but theres lots of times amazon gets it too me in 1 day)
mines water proof up to 1 meter supposedly, but I dont want to test it, if there is a flaw in the usb cover I could fry the charging port, dosnt float though, that must be handy for playing on the water

But the design is genius. The Wristlight gadget.

I feel like the phone flashlight just doesnt compare to a handheld one. Its just how it feels. Also, its safer just to bring a flashlight with you than your phone like if you went fishing or hunting at night or something like that.
But yeah, ideally I would want 2 flashlights, one waterproof, the other water-resistant with a focus lens. Still looking for that hi-quality focus lens, AA flashlight....

Nice! Is 1000 lumens strong enough to be considered "high powered"?
I paid around $35 for a Utilitech 1000 lumen flashlight and it offers plenty of light for camping and anything.

What do you plan to use it or OP? I want one just so I have an enormous flashlight, but can't really think of a practical use.
The guy in the video likes his flashlights though.
