Very first cake, pinning help

Hello fellow shroomers,
This is my very first cake and I noticed it is pinning at the bottom. After a couple of days and a little research I deceded to turn it upside down. The result is on the pictures.

Do you think it's gonna be OK?
Is there anything we can do so the pinning start all around and not only at bottom half?
Can I put some extra vermiculite on somehow?
Any opinion is welcome! Thanks guys!

Hey!
Can we have a bit more information on your setup?
What Fruiting chamber are you using? Any lights? If so, what are you using? (Ambient room, fluorescent, CFL) How many days in FC? PF tek? Any alterations? Current RH and Temps?

It is pinning at the bottom because that is where the best microclimate for growth is. It is where the humidity and evaporation are greatest. I would flip it back over and try not to touch the cake.
No dunking or adding anything else. Just keep misting on a cycle that makes sense. And keep it on a 12/12 light cycle.

Thank you for the questions, I guess I should have included all this information at the beginning, sorry for being such a noob

I used standard pf tek, 2parts verm 1 part brf and some gypsum. It's a 24" x 15" x 14" Sgfc with 4" perlite at the bottom. The cake has been in the chamber for a week now. I have added one more cake this morning.
For now I do not have any artifical lights the chamber placed near to a window, planning to buy a 15W CFL if necessary. The room temperature is constant 68—75F. Humidity wise I can't be sure unfortunately, I am misting 5-6 times during the day, nothing overnight.

Nah that's cool.
Did you fully soak the perlite prior to putting it in the SGFC? I recommend spraying the perlite heavily if not and also include the walls. Try not to spray directly at the cakes, fine mist is okay.
Don't think I misted that many times with a SGFC as the RH will stay up due to to the perlite.
Where is the SGFC sitting in the room? Is there much air circulation in the room itself? How high up is the SGFC raised?

I guees the perlite could be a bit more wet. I was running water through it to get rid of the dust and make it wet by using a pasta filter. Will definitely mist heavily that. I was thinking about getting a smaller chamber. Like a 23 quart one from IKEA.
The chamber is in the corner, next to the window 5 feet high. I do leave the window slightly open during the day
Would you flip it back over so the pins are at the bottom as it was suggested by our friend?

I'd be careful if you do flip it back over as your goal will be to fix the RH. If the microclimate picks up too much moisture then it can be a climate for other things.
I'd look to resolve your RH levels as a priority first before touching anything else.
So when I soaked perlite I'd pour it out of the bag straight into the SGFC, shower head over the whole thing until water was running clean out of the bottom holes. Level it and then take it to it's location after it had drained. Then your perlite is fully loaded.
I'd get it away from a wall as you need circulation under and around. The window could be drying the SGFC so get it away from the window. Most idealistic place for the FC would be in the centre of a room with a slight draft.
So try and gauge it from that. Flood your perlite, get better lighting, minimise the time you're opening the FC. Maybe fan once a day and mist the perlite when the RH drops.
Hope that helps?

Great staff, very much appreciated!
