Help Identify these from around Lakeland FL
    #26710094 - 05/31/20 09:37 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Hey All, I’m new to shrooming but have been studying up for several weeks now. I had my first day out on the pasture today. I was hoping to find some Golden Teacher’s as they’re fairly simple to identify. But i had no luck. However, I’m pretty sure I found some blue meanies. What is throwing me off is the fact that only two of them appear to be bruised blue after being picked. These were all pulled from cow dung around Lakeland Florida. They all have a similar shape and the spores are dark black/purple-ish. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Not touching any of them until I’m absolutely sure. I’ve grouped them numbered by same ones. I’m fairly confident that 4b and 4c are meanies as they’re the only ones i can for sure tell are bruised blue. Thanks all in advance.

Thank you MpSeph! Great to know! Is there a best way to identify the meanies from those other two kinds? They all look so similar when fresh and sitting in the dung. Should I mainly be looking for immediate bluing right when pulled?
