Anyone have an idea of what these little brown cuties may be?

Habitat: I found these in a well-treated lawn growing in green healthy grass in the North East United States.
Gills: The gills seem to be a very very dark brown or even black color. They are just regular gills https://imgur.com/3hWiheF
Stem: The stems range from about 1-2.5 inches. They are hollow, but not very thick at all, maybe like a thumb tac width. The original color was brown, however they have bruised black (or perhaps that is rotting, im not sure) They originally felt soft but have now turned hard https://imgur.com/eiDNQOg
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc. The caps are no more than 1-2 cm in diameter. They are dark brown and seem to have a lighter-brown ring near the bottom of the cap. It is conical and looks like a little winter hat you would wear on your head. When I tore the cap in two (when it was fresh and dried as well) there was no transparent goo-stuff that showed when split, which is probably a bad sign.

Spore print color: The spore print definitely black in my eyes, if not black then a very very dark brown. https://imgur.com/I1LqR6H
Bruising: (see stem image) the stems bruise black if anything, but that could just be them rotting.
Other information:
The mushroom just smells like a regular earthy scent you get with almost any mushroom, nothing special. Like I mentioned, there is a light brown ring around the bottom of the cap, which leads me to believe it could be a Panaeolus, however I want to be positive.
This is my first post on this forum so let me know if I should change something, mush love <3
PS: I also found what I believe is another species of mushroom in that same patch of lawn grass, except it has brown-ish prints and a flat cap with a near-hollow stem and white coating on the inside wall of the stem, but I am going to toss it because of the spore print not being black. There is no ring on this second mushroom. If you guys think this other one could possibly be containing psilocybin, mention it and I will add some photos but from what I know it is inactive.

Not easy to tell from those pictures, since you both decapitated the mushroom, and waited too long to take pictures of it. For the best possibility of a proper identification you should take pictures of fresh and intact specimens, preferably in situ.
However, given the general appearance of it combined with your description, I would probably suggest Panaeolus foenisecii.
Welcome to the Shroomery.

Hi! Understood, next time I will definitely take the pictures earlier. I did however get a couple pictures of the mushrooms I mentioned in the end of my post, I am 75% sure they are a different species than the ones I was originally referring to though, despite being in the same patch. https://imgur.com/TUfYpMQ https://imgur.com/WFnBjKf These ones seem to have dark brown spore prints and no ring around the cap which leads me to believe they are not containing psilocybin, and I dont want to risk it.
Thank you for the help and the warm welcome!!

Leave the cap for longer when making a spore print. Your second mushroom is agrocybe pediades.
