ID request - Melbourne AUS
    #26709801 - 05/31/20 06:45 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Found these guys whilst hunting at my regular patch yesterday. These were much larger than my confirmed subs and located a few metres away in a seperate more hidden area between two tree stumps. I suspect they are just way more mature subs that have gone unnoticed and been allowed to reach their full size.

Habitat: found growing in woodchips off the side of a bike path a few meters away from my regular patch, some grass amongst the chips, and smaller obvious subs growing besides.Canopy of eucalyptus and some pine trees overhead with a good amount of leaf litter.

Gills: Dark and lighter browns. The mushrooms were slightly dry as there has been no rain in about a week here.

Stem:
Length 6cm largest one, diameter 0.5cm, color creamy white with blue bruising veins around damaged parts, texture smooth with small bumps, solid, thin/thick, etc.

Cap:
Diameter 4cm, color lighter brown, some blue patches, texture is smooth, some convex and wavy

Spore print color:
Dark brown with purplish tinge. It's the same colour as other finds i've confirmed to be active

Bruising:
Blue

Cheers for any help, just want to be sure as I've never found any actives this size!
