What method of liquified agar did you use?

i feel like i annoyed people trying to get to try this method and i'm pretty sure i explained this directly to you , and turns out perhaps you didn't see it and no one even remembers ha , i can't find the fucking post though , anyway :stoned:

just grab a lid and rtv a regular oster brand blades to it , theres a tek somewhere, sterilize jar with blades with water and drop a plate in , blend the shit outta of it and go to town on your jars with that water directly from the jar with blades  , 1 plate makes 1 quart jar of water , enough for around 40 jars , i use verm in my grain so it handles whatever qty of water makes into the jar , don't really measure it as it is free hand pouring.

I’ve got a week old natalensis ssli right now!

About to run the pc and pour in the morning.

Jesus you guys have crazy jar collections!

I’ve never tried the blender tek, I did have good results with super soft plates that liquefy when you shake the jars and now I’m trying it with just adding a pinch of agar to an lc to get to the same result with no blender or plates.

i invested in jars a couple of months ago , i found a supplier that has 6 usd ( converted ) 12 packs for those red lid jars , love the 1 piece lid and wide mouth

so , the main difference i see between the LC and liquified agar is that you colonize the petri dish and can be 99% sure that is clean , then use , with the LC you colonize the water and you have to make sure it's clean by testing it on agar , and i feel scared of liquid with nutrients ,

and a confession , i use peroxide when i blend , i know , i know , i'm still testing if it's a good idea or not , but the best tubs so far have been using the peroxide blend spawn

Been using oster blenders this way since 2000s. Nothing new about it. The original idea came from 9er tek cloning method. Which might have been around before 96.

Yeah I remember when you told me about it in 2014 and I tried to make a TEK and it failed because I suck at growing mushrooms.

Finally getting around to cleaning out used plates.
I don't even remember what this was, could have been a pin clone.

It's a nice surprise as I am just getting out of a period of depression, most of my plates went to shit during this time as I couldn't bring myself to do any SAB work.
It was in a closed box with contaminated plates in the closet for at least a month, I don't know if those pins are viable but it's a nice welcome back.
Going to put spores to agar tomorrow, might as well grab one of those too.

This Oyster supermarket clone sat in the fridge for at least 3 months, I didn't know it could pin in the fridge, happened to 2 out of 3 plates.
