retreating mycilum on fruiting cake

Hi, I have almost completed my first flush EVER and I need some help. I only have one cake, I was just sorta seeing if growing was as easy as it seemed. I was forced to birth the cake early and it is about 1/3 of a 1/2pint cake. I have 7 4-5" B+ cubes with 1/2" caps, and now as the veils are opening up and I am nearing harvest time, the mycilum is not looking as fluffy and energetic. So, do you think the cake is just exhausted of neutriants after the first flush or is there a way to revive the mycilum, or does it not matter?
Thanks! Peace!

I understnad the dunk part, but I dont know what roll is, or what double end case means. Sorry I'm a newb. I also will have to leave them by this monday, so I don't know if I have time to case. I plan on dunking after this flush, but I don't know what else to do.
Thanks!

If you can't grow the cake after this monday harvest what you have when there ready and chuck it. The seconed flush isn't going to come between now and then esp if the first flush is still on the cake.

I have several pins starting for the seond flush alredy. It only took 5 days for my first pins to grow and pop their veils. I am taking the first flush off tomorrow. So, if the others grew from pins to maturity in 5 days, why would the new pins at least be worth TRYING, I mean, why not? I don't wanna just give up, I want to learn as much from my first grow as possiable.
