this trich in my new tub? Godforbid (Updated: Second Tub has me confused)

Greetings. So this is a tub that is now 15 days into colonization. GT variety + only coir, hydrated to field capacity. Today I discovered what looked to me like Trich.
This may or may not be related to the fact that I used a 0.5cm or so layer of coir as a casing. Who knows. I have excised the little spot though (last pic) . What ya think? Cheers

Looks like it could possibly be trich... real hard to tell sometimes. If it looks hard and like white paint then it's definitely trich... If it is then it's too late sorry... not all is lost though, isolate it from ANY OTHER GROWS!!! DO IT NOW!! Okay now take a deep breath... smoke a bowl of sticky green... Treat that area with h2o2... it really does help... or put it in the ground outside.... I've seen contams clear up completely and produce several more flushes doing this... you don't ever see a whole lot of mold outside... at least I don't. Hope this helps

It’s hard to say for sure but it does look like little trich. And if it was it will most likely be back soon. The mycelium grows and entangles with your good myc and will be in places you can’t even see yet. Though maybe you’ll get lucky and maybe it wasn’t trich at all

That does look like trich, nothing to do with top layer though.
If it was it’ll be back by tonight probably.
I’ve cut out five square inches of the entire sub for spots that size and not gotten it all.

Thanks for all the feedback, it's always good to know (although a bit sad).
I'm kinda disappointed, this was supposed to be my first tub with really clean spawn! Go figure.
I'll keep you posted.

So I thought my second tub was doomed to trich as well as soon as I discovered some strange looking growth. I was about to throw it away, but I just left it outside.
To my surprise, a large portion of it is starting to pin and I think I might have confused normal growth for trich.
My Gawd!
What do you think?

It's an infected tub trying to reproduce.

Looks like bacterial myc. Sometimes you get crazy flushes from bacteria.
One thing I’ve noticed from doing agar is myc gets way more solid and bright looking when it grows into a contam. And then a lot of times pins right on top of the mold.

Pinset is pretty decent, but I can already spot 2 caps which look like about to sporulate and they are severely underdeveloped.
Safe to assume this is due to bacterial contam right?

I'd also like to know if they are safe to eat, the answer is probably yes, right?

Your FAE holes look tiny. What's the design of your tub? Yes for consumption.
Actually overall, tubs looks pretty good, could be starving for air. Typical FAE hole sizes in Monos are 1 1/2" 1- 3/4, looks like a 1/2". ? Genetics, lack of FAE, and overly moist sub all possible factors for small guys

Holes are 1/4" or 0.5 cm, following Pasty's design, with the additional front holes for extra FAE. When I open the tub, there¡s lots of condensation on the top lid, I'll take a pic of the evaporation lines on the FAE holes and post it.
Thanks for the feedback

These are pics of the air extraction holes. Genetics should be decent, it's a clone from the best specimen of a previous MS grow.

I'll add that rel. humidity is always pretty high here, always above 50&
