It was only about a stomach high fence, just high enough to catch my legs on the way down slamming me head first. Then security felt the need to slam me into it a couple more times before throwing me back over. Was at an Alice Cooper concert of all things.
Have seen death by stereo a couple times. Also saw voodoo glow skulls with Efrem singing. At one point there were so many fights in the crowd at once he jumped off the stage to break them up. Had a laugh with him about that when he joined the crowd when Rev Horton Heat started his set.

And just like that, NYC is re-opening and we're going back to work. Can't wait!
Going to wash and wax my car tomorrow out in the beautiful sun with my family and friends. Good times! Trump 2020!

How many millions will suffer for the rest of their lives? I think people attempting to minimize this virus forget about the survivors.
We've been pumped full of fear for months now. There are many legitimate reason for the backlash. I doubt many people just don't care about the sick and dead - many are exhausted from the fear factory that is now in place. I know people who plan to wear masks in public for the rest of their lives!
People are trying to minimize the situation and NEVER discuss the long term implications of getting ill from this virus. I don't want permanent organ damage and then call myself a success because it didn't kill me.
I completely agree

My wife's uncle passed away and the only people allowed in hospice were his wife and son, both of which had contact with him during lock down. They cremated him, and we will have a service for him whenever all of this is over. It was very odd having a family member pass like that and not have family in town, visitations, etc..
That said, my county is green phase tomorrow. Restaurants and bars will be open again.

A couple weeks later and racism cures corona. Now you can go to a restaurant last week you couldn't visit your dying family

Nothing is cured. Things are still fucked. It's just a rock and a hard place situation. Spread covid so I can get a hair cut? Nah. Spread covid by trying to prevent a fascist police state? Sucks, but it has to be done.

His passing was about three weeks back now, so things were more serious at that point. My county (second most populous in PA) wasn't hit very hard. Our hospitals were actually at less capacity than normal due to them postponing and turning away a lot of cases they'd normally take (what does that say about our healthcare system?). Hospitalizations have been zero for several weeks now. New cases are in the single digits. I'm all for resuming normal life and getting people back to work, at least under the circumstances of my county.
We did burn a cop car or two, and riot pretty well, we even got a nice little curfew.

I guess it depends on what state you live in. For the forseeible future you won't be able to have a job or go shopping, or anything else without wearing a mask in many states. I guess it depends on what happens in the states that opened up first, and some of the preliminary reports don't sound good.
On the other hand, maybe we do just have to go ahead and expose most people and see what happens, and most people get immunity or some immunity. The long term economic effects are longer term than most people realize, and that gets worse every day they don't reopen completely.
We don't really have the deaths and medically crippled vs economic disaster equation and even if we did, there would be disagreement.
But right now, the majority still favors not opening too soon, so that's a political issue that has to be faced.

If we burn enough that would work. It does bring us to the Viet Nam War question of "Do we really want to nuke them into the Stone Age?
I realize you weren't serious, and I wasn't sure if Stone Age should be capitalized, but I did it out of reverence for the Flintstones. Probably me and Vinsue were the only ones who watched that before reruns.
