Tha fuck is wrong with you? When you say cold wings are you actually meaning lukewarm or roomtemp, or are you just eating them right out of the fridge?

ice cold
but a lot of places are either room temp wings or burnt hot ones
food isnt supposed to be served fresh out the oven, especially meat
it needs time for the texture to settle up

Preferably from the fridge but I am definitely not above eating some that were sitting out all night on the coffee table at room temp.
I almost think they are better cold, no blowing on them and burning your fingers, the sauce is congealed and not runny plus the blue cheese sticks better.
The only downside is loss of crispyness but since most places can't do good hot n crispy wings this is a minor loss.
Throw them in the oven after tossed for the sauce to congeal if you want less mess, haha damn. Y'all are like my brother who will heat up already cooked food and then stick it in the freezer or something. Can't deny I've woken up to a half-eaten plate of wings and just continued eating them like I didn't pass out for 6 hours. So far the Bleu cheese hasn't killed me.

Proper blue cheese is buttermilk based and can be left out longer.

That is only true for some foods, and definitely not true for wings.

Don't knock it till you try it.
I have tried it, the fattyness in the chicken is solidified and only becomes perfectly melded with the texture and taste of the muscle fiber after you have begun chewing it and warming it with your own body heat. Ice cold wings are just not as good as hot wings, freshly cooked or reheated (not microwaved, fuck that).

Why are your wings fatty?

Wings are dark meat ya ding dong, also they technically have more skin to meat ratio than any other part most normally eaten from the chicken, so all chicken wings are fatty, and that's where a significant amount of the flavor comes in

Yeah but if they were fried good and hard the fat in the skin should mostly be rendered.

I haven't had a fried wing in maybe 6 or 7 years, but I would think they are more fatty than other methods of cooking because the batter or breading is gonna soak up oil or butter. Baked or grilled for the rest of my life, unless I get an air fryer. Which I might.

No batter or breading.
The wings are fried from raw till all the skin is crispy brown and ready to accept the sauce. :gordonramsey:

I heard you can use pork rinds instead of bread crumbs

One night a friend and I got drunk and left out (facepalm) some EXCELLENT brisket all night. Woke up, what was left -- and there was a decent amount...was on the table still. I said fuck it and ate some. He took the rest home.

We were both fine and it was still good

What is the point of frying them that way, you just feel more satisfied with more of a mess to clean up afterwards? Or do you mean for air fryers? I don't know how those work actually.

Nobody is throwing away brisket, that's not even a skeezy story. Cooked meat isn't usually going to spoil over night even if in open and humid air. I think unless you were raised in a bubble, you'll be fine going at those overnight leftovers you were too fucked up to put away, lol.
