For me, its APE, Rusty Whyte, African Transkei, KSSS and Mazatepeca.

I definitely love ape when itβs dark blue caps and Averyβs.
Besides that itβs hard to say cuz the same kind can look so different. Like usually Iβm not into gt but the pic below had much darker color than usual.
Hereβs some of my favorite ones recently though.

Playa Uvita , toc, gt, and 3 βMelmakβ

I like the intrinsic beauty of trichoderma and aspergillus; all varieties.
No, in all seriousness Iβve always had a thing for Colombian Rust Spore. I love how(at least for me) theyβve always turned out to be just βcleanerβ looking, if I had to put a word to it... Love that lighter coloration too. Never had the pleasure of growing Rustywhyte yet, but I imagine thatβd tickle my fancy as well. Unfortunately I have no pics to share at the moment.

My favorite genetics was from a syringe of Thai that I got years ago, I completed dozens of grows from spores and every grow had witch hat shaped caps. Wish I still had it.

Eat do your Stro print with a pinkish purple halo around the outside? I have a giveaway going now with some that had it but I'm pretty sure it's a normal occurrence. This isn't the first time I noticed a pink halo around purple prints.

My favorite is that look that a lot of wild cubes have. a light brown center quickly fading out to almost white from the sun and a little halo of purple around the rim from spores. They look like beautiful little space ships or something.

Do you know if wild cubes will keep that look after being cultivated indoors? I'd assume they'd maintain that phenotype for the first spawn run or so, but do you know if it is stable enough that they will sustain that look indefinitely?

LOVE the look of APE but in many years of growing never got a chance to grow them myself for whatever reason, unfortunately. I have a weird sense of aesthetics. I think that odd is good. One of the reasons I love growing Classics constantly is the fugly, super-dark caps, wavy, mottles coloration and structure in maturity, fat, woody-looking stipes, etc... So gnarly... Much yes. I love how Transkei turns out sometimes. Funky giants. Used to have some gulf coast genetis that consistently put out caps with very pronounced umbos and were very bell-shaped. Those were soooo purdy and regal looking when they grew large (and had these long, amost exaggerated stipes). Also- lately I've been drooling over Gizmo''s stropharia photos while I go through the clean-up-motions on some spores from his givewaway. I think they look pretty nifty. Hard to pick a favorite, but it's probably classics. They look very rough around the edges and primitive...

I've seen beauties and not so much beauties in just about every cube variety I've grown.
Mexi-Cube though, it likes to throw up yellow or orange fruits sometimes, just gorgeous caps and often white spots all over on

I have been digging on Malabar. I love the fat stems and the little caps. Basically, I like all the cubes that have distinguishable traits. I have never really had access to any of the albino varieties, but some of the albinos I see you guys growing are absolutely gorgeous.

Those prints look like they get less heavy as they get closer to the edge so it makes the color fade almost.
I wasnβt sure stropharia was actually a variety or if it was just the old name for cubensis.

I think that the outdoor pheno can vary based on light and temperature. Like they are always whiter in direct sun.
My favorite cube is the Texas Evil Cube Variety.

I took two, the second one is almost ready to spawn. I canβt remember what they came from but Iβm hoping for a tub full of the tall one on the left with the pointy cap.

well the funny thing is they can all put out beautiful fruits.
but if i had to pick my favorite cube culture that i have it is without a doubt my Z-strain that i have done a fuck ton of work on. it puts out just bright beautiful fruits in huge clusters with large thick meaty ass caps

then these palenque i started working on were pretty too but since i have started pans all my cube projects have just gone to the back burner
point is they are all perfectly able to put out really beautiful fruits i honestly dont think we can actually narrow it down to the best looking 1

The most beautiful cube for me is melmac. Unfortunately I haven't been able to grow it myself because I don't have any access to it. But I've seen pictures of some of the hugest looking cubes that looks like wooden clubs. I can imagine myself being in the stone age by holding one lmao

Krombipulos would love to get my hands on a Malmac print. He's heard awesome things. Sadly it doesn't look like his supplier has them either. Wonder if any of our lovely folks here have some to share?

I think it's a toss up between Amazo, Toc, and Z-strain for me. Amazon

TOC

Z-strain

Although might have something new working here. This is a cross between Amazon and Z-strain

I have a RustyWhyte print that I'll be working on soon and unless someone hooks you up first I'll send you a print, once I've got a harvest
Wow. Thanks that would be awesome!

Yeah, no worries, man. At a certain point, I'll be doing a multi-strain give-away of prints from all of the ones I'm currently working on. Just send me a PM so I can look back and not forget I made the offer

Out of everything I've grown? Nu Muang.
Not the meatiest cubes I've ever grown, but the silky feel of the stipes and almost perfect lack of any graining or texturing when it came to colour was just lovely

Thais in general had such a lovely look about them.

I never got much yeild out of the variety despite trying quite hard, but Leucistic Golden Teacher was phenomenal in terms of aesthetics

Now when it comes to other strains I dont have, I gotta say AA+ makes me drool

BHT gave us beautiful meaty fruits with nice dark caps but they are a total mindfuck in terms of tripping on them..
I'm prejudiced af of course but I really like the look of the leucistic Cambos were working on

Z-strain

Isn't z strain supposed to be the same as GT just renamed by Keeper for the purpose of scamming rooks out of there hard earned cash? There was a article about it I was trying to look it up but can't find it anywhere now.
It would make sense. I like to dose high when I dose. Around 14 dry grams. My favorite trip I've ever had was GT and Z strain. Both has a different trip that is sometimes mistaken for low potency. Very manageable. Sometimes I take a half oz and lose my fucking mind but don't have any visuals. I feel like GT and Z both gave a good amount of visuals while still letting me have a good time and basically confusing my ability to make connections where they should be lmao. Idk how to word that part but it's something like that.

This is crazy, I was just about to post in the marketplace looking for Na Muang in particular, but also open to any Thai variety.... Then I decided I have too many varieties already, decided not to make the post, then came here.... kinda trippy
I am going to consider this a sign, and make that marketplace post.
As for which I think is most beautiful, from what I've grown, I would say Avery's Albino. Not the most potent however, so I do not grow them out as much as I would like. Also they are small, but make up for it with insanely dense pinsets in my experience. Kinda makes harvest a pain in the ass tho. I'll try them again soon, maybe I can clone to try to improve size and potency.

Iβm biased but I love my RW.

Also love the APE and PE variants

Even PE blobs are cool looking IMO

So much beauty can be found in most varieties IMO. A well executed grow is a thing of beauty.

Man, crazy hyped to start growing those. Just been testing PP5s to find the right one, but we found a winner now, so it's off the races.
