A few little finds here and there over the last couple of days. Not quite in full swing here yet. Found this little handful of caramel goodness while looking out the window of the work car this morning. Jumped out in my high vis and picked away š

This is my first year hunting shrooms. Iāve found 2 patches of subs in different locations following a similar formula.
If I was to head to the northern beaches for a hunt Iād be doing the following.
Get onto google maps and switch to the satellite view. Look for a creek that is surrounded by gum or pine trees. Pick the south facing bank. Get your hiking boots on. Take a long umbrella to help carefully move ferns to the side so you can check underneath. Have some herb if youāve got some. Enjoy nature. Every now and again. Stop, have a breather. Take the time to stop and scan the decaying gum leaves. Look under bracken ferns. If you canāt see bracken ferns, go somewhere else. (Remember Iām in my first year, but in Sydney these seem to be a magnet). If you can find bracken ferns under gum trees with a decent undergrowth of grass, your time is spent wisely here as the moisture level will be higher.
Go for a drive over towards the Ku-ring-gai national park. Check out the boat ramp areas. Have a look around some of the picnic areas along the river. Theyāll have grassy areas and maybe ferns.
Good luck.
Have you noticed they can be more potent than pine forest subz
Iāve previously tried dried P.Cubensis caps and did 2.5gās with lime juice. Which is the biggest dose Iāve done.
After finding 12gās dried in the blue mountains earlier this week, i was blown away with how much of a difference there is in potency between subs and cubes. the subs i found were discovered in pine chips in gardens around parks.
I picked my subs on Monday dried them in the oven on a tray at around 60celcius til cracker dry. Planned on keeping them, but ended up getting a window off opportunity on Wednesday morning. Ate 1.1g of dried subs, then washed it down with the juice of one small grapefruit. Went to bed, put some music on, made myself super cosy. Life went back to ānormalā at around 12pm. These are my absolute favourite. Canāt wait for the VIC border to reopen so I can head down for a hunt. I canāt help but feel I was hunting in very popular spots. Theyāre all very easily accessible by road or even on the road.
Need to find a batch deep in the bush so I can find some big hauls.
Iām hosting an orgy for my birthday in November and need to lead a ceremony. I canāt wait to give my guests this gift.

Holy shit, I was under the impression Newcastle was a pretty bad area to look. Are we talking coastal Newcastle or out near the back closer to the lake or Mt Sugarloaf? I've spent the last two seasons poking around places but have had 0 luck hahaha

Went for a little bush bash near a local park. Found lots of fungi including this little guy.

I'm not sure though as there isn't much bruising at all. The environment was the perfect spot, the cap looks just like a sub just not sure.
Found a lot of what could be gyms too. Different than the cort.. I found last week.

Sorry the spore prints have only been going for about an hour so not much to go on.
This is a description of gym jun... https://bie.ala.org.au/species/NZOR-6-17959 I'm pretty sure I've found them.

Hello,
I tried shrooms for the first time a few weeks ago and have experienced a positive result for my lifelong anxiety, I was wanting to microdose and wondered if anyone knew where to find MM capsules in Sydney to do so?
Thank you

Hi Sativa420, I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to share your method for oven drying subs? It's hard finding good info online about this because so many people claim it's bad for the shrooms (which I don't really believe) or just go other routes. Do you air dry first for any amount of time? And how long do you put them in the oven? Do you keep the door half-open? Do you store them for long periods of time after? If so, how? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, I'm just trying to work out the best way to do it myself. (:

Iām happy you found solace from your anxiety
Ebay for capsules - chemists might have them but Iāve never seen them. Recommend starting off with about .1g for a microdose, work up towards .2g until you find the sweet spot. Size 3 capsules should do it.
Hope that helps.

Iāve got an electric fan forced oven. Turned in on as low as it would go. Lowest setting on the dial is 50C. Put the 12g fresh on a pizza tray. Put them in on the top shelf. Left the door cracked open about an inch . My oven has a grill function so door stays open by itself. If yours doesnāt do this, then use a wooden spoon or something to keep the door open and let the air out. Came back to check on them about 1hour later and they we done.

ala.org.au says gyms contain a neurotoxin - can anyone comment on this?
What other look-alikes would I need to be careful of if I found some potential gyms?
What is the potency of gyms compare with subs?
Cheers

The potency is low compared to cubes and certainly lower than subs. They have something else which attributes to the sense of intoxication, which may be the neurotoxin. I'm not experienced in them so I'm only going off what I've read..
Regarding look a likes, gallerinas, but they are probably more confused for other types of gyms. Not gym. Junious.
