agar after refridgeration

I have started isolating/cleaning up agar plates for the last few months. After I pour the plates sometimes I wait a day or sometimes a few days before i put a new piece of myc on the plate. Then after a week im ready to iso/clean.
Im getting to the point where I need to place most of my plates in the fridge instead of sitting in the room most of the time. I am now scared to do so since Ive noticed a lot of plates have major condensation issues like big fat drops of water and as soon as you move them the water floods the agar/myc.
Is there something Im missing regarding storing them in the fridge, should I cool them down before placing them in the fridge? if so, how?

hmm
to begin with you need enough parafilm or cling wrapping to prevent too much moisture condensing inside and pooling too soon. i guess a ziploc bag could also slow things down, on top of the 2-3 layers of parafilm covering the slit of the lid.
other than that it just occurred to me it should help to place a whole stack in the fridge not dissimilar to how swift stacking can help against condensation when you are pouring.
condensation happens because of a gradient, a thermodynamic difference particularly the plates themselves being cooler than the content, which is true both when pouring and when putting them in the fridge. moderating that should help but in the long run there are also more complex dynamics at play in a fridge, i think especially in old fridges which are more unstable regarding the behavior of water.
cooling them down before the fridge well a fridge is a place to cool them down with but if you wanna do it more slowly you could wrap the plates in like a small kitchen towel for insulation so that the plates cool down more slowly. But thats really just an idea just now which should theoretically work but itd be an experiment xD (ziploc bag should insulate and moderate too)
