I'm back and I've figured it out at last. 1

So basically after about two years of intense interpersonal psychoanalysis, I've determined that I have Aspergers. Kind of great news but I'm not really sure what to do. This is truly like the first time I feel like a whole person. There was always something missing. I believe weed had a large part in discovering this. I could go on forever here.
reply to say hi haha

Yeah knowing is the first part..
Next is to be open minded enough to find treatment that works for you..

Since I'm 19 and figured this all out myself I never had the mental barrier of the label itself. Simply put, I grew up normal and developed social skills but I am basically a textbook case of Aspergers.

not really, after label you just continue you have not ignored the facts you are not required to do anything, labeling in your mind is enough in most cases.

The addition of a label really only tells me what I already know. I live normally but my brain thinks about stuff differently. I'm not really sure how to explain it yet.

I thought the MH sector was accessed to help heal with psychoanalysis.
yes we all have personal differences that are the content of our thinking,,, that is different. how we think is different in each mental state: the thinking can be more or less layered, but thinking is always associative.
now a person could have a bigger cortex, or a more resonant baseline, or both, but thinking remains an associative result of having a mind.

(This is not to freak you out or anything.... you know.... not to be the guy thats like.... this is but another rabbit hole!!!! Come with me to see the TRUE NATURE of everything!!!!!)
Its possible you dont have this disease. Perhaps you are striving to find something and this is the next thing you're focusing on as an answer.
I forget who is quoted saying this.... and the exact quote itself.... but it goes something like "A true philosopher isnt a true philosopher unless they have at least once questioned whether they are the fool"
Maybe youre just in a stage where you doubt yourself. Dont get a big head from hearing this.... but its possible you arent stupid. Its possible you are seeing things more clearly than others.... even people who you intellectually admire. And this disconnect from your higher thought process to their lower receptivity is creating the illusion that you have some kind of mental illness.
Social awkwardness does not automatically mean you are the problem.
Just food for thought brotato. Whatever makes you happy is ALL that matters. You only have the one life. Fucking put wind in your own sails. People are gonna drag you down everywhere you go and no matter who you are.
Much love and good vibes to ya.

Welcome to the club. I am so autistic I get lost just driving to town...took me until I was 20 just to get the knot right that I use to tie my shoes. On the bright side I became a computer professional at 42...got my first computer at 40...now I am a well paid system administrator who can easily give the young tech guys a serious run for their money...and usually beat them out. My capacity to figure out a complex system used to really freak me out. I learn and problem solve intuitively and quick. I thought I was a fuck up until I got that first computer. I consider that day as the day I was born.
My grandson inherited this. He was using old computers and network cable to make pretend networks when he wore diapers. At school they gave him an awareness test and he didn't answer one question. He was too busy looking at the ceiling fan. He made a 0. They determined that he was profoundly retarded...then he got a hearing test and they said he was deaf. He can hear fine...he just don't a fuck about what they got to say. My daughter had to resist the school putting him in with the guys wearing diapers. He is in 4th grade now and rocks A in math and science classes...but barely passes the bullshit classes.....when he was in the first grade his teacher got in trouble for putting him in the corner so she didn't need to teach him...and he was drinking hand sanitizer...teacher didn't care she didn't like kids who were different. She got shit canned.

A great story at that. I don't find it's too severe and I have no mental anguish. The day I figured this out was the happiest day of my life hands down. The only thing is that while I may be fine now, I could perhaps only be on the lower end of my own "autism timeline". I'm a bit afraid I could develop things like a hunch back, a bad stutter, or worse. In my whole life that really could be the only thing that scares me even if it's only a little. The best way to put it personal regression, I work hard to be my best self and grow.
Cheers
