My new bandname
My bathroom is at the top of the stairs, as I was going downstairs I heard a chattering/squeaking noise and both cats were in there, I took a quick look in the bathroom but didnt see anything, decided whatever
while I was waiting for my kettle to boil my stepdad was doing the dishes, I heard it again, I tried to tell him I think somethings in the washroom but everytime I told him to listen the noise would stop and he thought I was crazy, when I tried to explain the noise he was like the cats make that noise sometimes, or that I was hearing the roosters crow
so my coffee is made I go back up stairs, I stand in the bathroom for a second and this time I think I hear the noise coming from the fan, so I thought it was a bird in the fan, which makes sense cause the cats been in the bathroom the whole time and hasnt caught anything
so I go back downstairs and tell my stepdad I think theres a bird in the fan, should I turn it on and see if it leaves?, he comes up stairs to see, and he dosnt think its coming from the fan so he looks around, he looks behind the toilet and hes like its a bat
so I say its gonna give us all the corona virus, I think about how to catch a bat for a split second and want to go get the net from the garage, thinking I could net it, my step dad says no, its just a small thing, and just grabs a work glove he had in his room and just grabs it with the glove and sets it outside

Good choice on the glove on your dads part.
Probably doesn't have the Rona(hopefully at least ) but might have rabies. And bat bites can be really small and unnoticeable. Honestly unknowingly getting bitten by a bat and dying from rabies is probably in my top 20 as far as dumb ways I worry about how I'll die sometimes.

I'd be careful picking them up, they have big sharp pointy ass teeth. I could see them going through certain gloves. I remember going to get water late at night a few years ago and I step on something gross feeling. I thought it was a fucking turd or maybe a dead mouse. No it was a live fucking bat on my kitchen floor. I was so glad it didn't bite me. We get bats in the house every so often, minimum a few times a year. Pretty sure the attic is infested but I don't own the place nor intend to live here forever(though the property is nice). Usually I gotta play broom Knight and swat the fucking thing as it darts around the house but sometimes my cats catch them for me and I hella appreciate
