NZ Agaricus campestris ID Request
    #26702970 - 05/28/20 11:13 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

I have found A. campestris before with my uncle, I'm fairly sure these are the same species, but would like to have a second opinion.

Habitat:
Found in a park in Central Auckland, NZ. Growing in direct sunlight. Some trees nearby.

Gills:
Adnexed gills (though I always have trouble with these distinctions)
Salmon when freshly picked. Changed to dark brown 24 hours after picking.

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Thick, white stem, about 10cm on largest specimen.
Very fleshy, quite similar to A. bisporus

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Broad, rounded on largest specimen, about 10cm diameter.
Smooth texture.
Spherical on immature specimens.
Uniform white, same as stem.
No obvious zonates.

Spore print color:
Dark brown.

Bruising:
No yellow staining after attempting to bruise the inside of the stem.
No staining otherwise.

Other information:
No obvious odor.

Freshly Picked:

After 24 hours:

Spore Print:

Thanks for your help

They Look To Be Either Agaricus Campestris, Or Agaricus Arvensis.
