so I put 3 brf cakes to a humidity chamber everything look happy? starting to see a decent amount of pins the ones with the big mushrooms fruited first in the jar. one is going into the the coir should I just cut him off and eat em lol id hate to see him abort or whateva before I could eat it. Also have 3 shoe boxes going used brf jars as spawn broke it up and mixed thoroughly. One shoe box was made when the humidity box was made it looks like maybe a few more days till pins ? ive been giving it air 2-3 times a day briefly and ever so slightly fanning when I do that to try to move the air around in the boxes. the two I started yesterday probably wont open up for a day or two. they're all under lights 12on 12 off could probably catch a nice tan off the light im using.

Looks pretty good, personally I would make the coir wetter and fluffier but whatever works.
Don’t worry about mushrooms touching the coir they’ll be ok.

dope so in the future maybe even wetter coir ? I haven't misted at all yet but can I just do that with tap water and do you think I should give it a mist ? also when misting do you want to try to dodge growing mushies or does it not matter. thanks for the input some of the caps exploded over night.

it might look more dense in this pic because of the mix it was the Midwest spawn mix that I needed to use up its verm and coir maybe that's why it looks more dense to you ? not questioning your judgment I appreciate the help and will post a pic of the new mix of just coir.

Misting the mushrooms is ok as long as there’s enough air that they’ll dry off relatively quickly and not be soaked all day.
I’ve only done brf cakes a couple times so I’m not the best person to help with those, I normally put shoebox subs with a lot of side pins in my hc.
You can’t have the coir too wet in the hc, even just straight water works if you can move enough air in. The only reason I mention making it fluffier is because more surface area will have more evaporation.

they've been getting minimal air ive been taking the lid off for maybe 30 seconds at a time 3x a day. should I be leaving it cracked ? I live in a dry place I think that things reading my rooms humidity around 30%. I know its all a learning curve lol its a lil stressful tho id hate to over water/mist and have a mush mold so the mushroom that's like 3/4 cap is in the dirt is ok don't mess with it ?
