Yeah if you wanna do shit the OLD ways!!!
New modern 21st century constitution does not use a statement of intent in the beginning.

Absolutely. It's not stopping because it's not just about one guy. It's not stopping because it's not just about police sucking. People are tired of the entire system, the impotence of the government, the people are tired of the people.
There's alot of fuel that's been fed to this fire. George Floyd was just the spark.
But I'm pretty certain this big of a shitshow wouldn't have happened if the country hadn't been shut down for 3 months and millions weren't unemployed. Tends to be when unrest happens...

Just irritates me no one is either giving voice to all their frustration or have a clear goal in their one focal point.
You want police to suck less. Cool.
Every war protest had a simple answer to the protesters. Pull out of the war.
Pro abortion and antiabortion has a clear goal.
Pro lgbt had a clear goal (marriage laws). My gripe with that is that after that goal was met it lost direction while being lgbt was not a federally protected class.
What's our goal here folks? What new system or law or policy do we demand from the government?

Abolish the BailBond for starters.
If you are poor and black you should not have to sit in jail until your court date because you don't have enough money to bail out of jail.
Innocent until proven guilty!
Under the current system you are guilty until proven innocent!
Unless your not poor.
If you have money than life is a totally diffent game.
Anyone who denies this should have their property treated like the precent station.

Systematic racist killings by a publicly funded department nationwide is worth "salt on its own"

It has to be short and sweet too. Occupy did have a message but it wasn't focused enough, it was too vague - there were way too many people there to camp out and chill and who had no idea what their message even was, and I think ultimately that's why it failed.
There's so much that needs to change and be fixed but ultimately this is about police reform. Maybe you could tack on prison reform to that, as it does disproportionately effect minorities and poor people(which is a rapidly growing number), but ultimately I think 'stop killing us' adequately explains the jist of it.
..pretty damn simple thing to ask. When you ask what you need to get to that goal :
- better accountability - no hopping to the next town for a police job when you get fired, more looking into community policing(I'm a bit unfamiliar with how effective this tactic is, but it is intriguing), more impartial internal investigations - should they even be internal? - better training with a focus on de-escalation, not escalation - with more education on dealing with the differently abled, the mentally ill. - better selection and recruiting processes, better access to mental health services and counseling for officers(I'm sure they already have access to pretty good stuff though, but maybe more emphasis on actually using it). - de-militarization, though I do not see that happening anytime soon after this.
Notably though, BLM has already released extensive literature on the policy changes they would like to enact for themselves as well as the other missions that they support and stand in solidarity with.

8 -stop the corporate owned for profit prison system that backs these asshat police and puts them out to get more people for them the reason they get this shit at them is because they are the front line of sheep that do the work for the corparations and banks and keep them safe and thats a big part of why people hate the police. And fuck the police for atacking people with gas ,rubber bullets, and theyre police cars now too defending this bullshit system if they dont attack people cool thats better but thats not really what they are doing

The top 50 highest paid cops in Boston all make over $280,000 each. Most of the rest make well into the 6 figures, they're better paid than dentists and lawyers. The highest paid detective makes over $400,000... a cop makes more than the US president.
The police union in many places is so strong that realistically there will never be systemic changes to policing, and it's political suicide for politicians to even attempt reform. Cops stormed the Boston statehouse and politicians received death threats when the state was trying to pass a law to allow civilians instead of cops making $80/hr to do traffic and construction details. Many cops make over 50k on detail overtime alone, just sitting in their cruiser on their phones at construction sites. Even a 30 minute detail pays out at a minimum of 4 hours.
One positive of protests like this is that they at least let cops know that they won't always get away with their bullshit, and aren't completely immune to consequences. It at least puts a second thought in some cops minds before pulling the trigger or whatever, although the videos of police brutality we've seen from the protests show that many cops will just never get the memo... or care.

Thank you. You're right that all that can't fit on a poster but this is what we have to keep in mind. How to measure goals. How our demands are met.
If we lose focus then any bone the government throws will shut us up (as in the past) or the anger just has a mind of its own. That's my concern. That the focus is just a pretense and then not focused enough to do anything.
We as in the people. Stop fighting each other because you don't always agree about specific details.
