Can someone confirm whether buried substrate is colonizing?

Hi there,
I buried some Ecuador strain substrate under bark in the backyard on the 6/5 because there was to much moisture in jars. Would have failed in those conditions.
Can I get any confirmation whether my pictures show proper mycellium growth? And chances of that fruiting? It's very hard to the touch and smells fresh.
Appreciate any help!

You may get some fruits but in the future you'd want to bury cubes with manure not wood chips. Wood chips are for species such as psilocybe cyanescens and psilocybe azurescens.

That's good to know. Thanks for the info, will keep that in mind for next time wasn't really expecting to see any results from this so I'm stoked to even see the mycellium take hold!

You would’ve been much better off spawning or top fruiting them probably.
Do you live somewhere cubes grow?

I've had success just dumping coir over the top of my sketchy jars that get tossed, but just let nature do its thing.

Yeah plenty of cubes grow where I am. Relatively tropical part of Australia.
