Yes you can. A 22 is diffcult to use for a terraium yet it can be done..

22 gal container is fine. My hampster currently uses a 32 gal container. If the container is tall, then the humidity may suffer a bit. A wider/deeper container will allow for more perlite and less head space to have to humidify.

If you are using PF tek you will have to watch your humidity. Probably ought to invest in a hygrometer (about $20). If you are using cased trays, the humidity doesn't need to be as high.
