Found these guys out in my cows pasture.  I am western part of state, on a ridgetop, in late spring.  Found around cow dung. Spore print charcoal black.  No bruising noticed in stem.  Very thin and flimsy

I'm hoping for panaleous cinctulus, but I'm not sure.  The larger darker one was the only one that looked like that, but I assumed it was the same due to closeness.  The rest looked similar to the first picture (and there was a lot!)

Take a spore print for each mushroom that hasn't already dropped them all. You could try to swab the gills to check for the color, too.

Here are some more pics - first four have black spore, last two have brown.  I am not sure if first two are different mushroom from second 2 pics - maybe

Do any of them look potentially active?  Or potentially dangerous to try?

Looks like panaeolus olivaceus to me. Two last photos are agrocybe.

Okay, so first 4 photos are all the same mushroom, even though some were quite darker?  How many grams do you think I would need for a decent trip, as they I read they are low potency

Panaeolus olivaceus is only occasionally active, I wouldn't get too exited. Down 2-3 grams dry and see what happens (I'd probably quadruple it and then some).
