I have a CLONE, now what?

Hi Shroomery fam.
After taking many years off of this hobby, I have recently started growing again, and worked my way back (I feel) to my previous level of knowledge.
I started 10 wbs jars with a syringe from a reliable vendor on the site. I spawned the jars to coir and took a couple clones of the biggest mushrooms.
Now what? I'm so confused with all the information about how clones work?
I've read not to keep transfering them because everytime you take a piece out and put it on agar, you're cutting away from genetics you need?
This clone I have now,

it was clean on agar so I put it on grain. And took a transfer. this is the first transfer away from the original cloning agar dish along side the grain master I started at the same time.
I was going to start another grain master with this, and then put a transfer to a plate for long term storage of the genetics.
If I take more transfers from this plate, will I lose the genetics I have?
IF you were me, what would you do with this agar dish?
its Golden Teacher, btw.
Anyway, hoping to get some advice on how to NOT FUCK THIS UP.
thanks

There's a few things you can do. The obvious first thing, imo, is to do what you've already done. which is throw it on some grain and fruit it. Of course you wanna know if it fruits well and/or is potent before putting too much more hard work into it.
If you want a backup plan, while you're throwing your next plate on some grain, transfer a little bit of that myc onto slant(s) (or a plate, but you'll eventually have to put that on a slant if you wanna keep it long term) and put that in the fridge. Label it well. If that culture fruits well or is really potent, or you like it for any number of reasons, then keep that slant. Now you have an ace in the hole that you can fall back on for a loooooong time. That's always very nice to have. If it is shit clone, then just toss the slant.
As for whether you are cutting down the genetics, you are with each transfer. Between taking transfers from your original MS plate to clean up your culture before spawning it initially and then taking a clone from that run, you've already cut down the genetics pretty significantly compared to your original germination plate. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though. You could always play around with it and try for an monoculture or something if you want a cool project on the side. There's no guarantee that it will be a great fruiting/potent culture, but it can be something to mess around with. There's all kinds of fun things to do with a clone. Especially a good one.
I'm also sure some others with more experience can tell you even more things to do. I had to throw all my clone cultures away late last year when I moved. It was devastating.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I've just been overthinking it.

I haven’t done a ton of experimenting with clones but it seems like it’s best to transfer once or twice and then grow it to see what you get.
The clones I’ve done right from tissue have had more of an ms look to them with significant variation of mushrooms.
The ones I’ve transferred before growing have been much more uniform.
