Whats your Favorite Psychedelic Music to Listen Mid-Trip?

This applies to any classic Psychedelic substance you wish.
For me, its Psy-Dub, Psy-Bass and Psy-Trance. Dubstep is pretty great too. And of course Shpongle , which is technically Down-Tempo Psy-Trance. When I wanna chill, I choose Classical. I find these types of music are great for Shrooms, LSD, Mescaline and Weed.
I prefer Psy-Bass for DMT thou, cause it matches the experience the best in my experience.
How about you? Do you listen to all types of music for different psychedelics? Or do you like a specific type of music for a specific classic psychedelic?

I’ve had years of listening to all sorts of stuff, LC, especially Hawkwind, and especially Shpongle. Just got into psy-trance this year and that too has blown me away.
But played Pink Floyd - Meddle last Saturday after a few grams of dried golden teacher: Echoes is one of the best ever songs to listen to on any psychedelic; the first time I heard Echoes was watching Live At Pompeii, many years ago after taking LSD, and seeing Dave Gilmour playing the guitar crescendo after they descended into the depths, is one of the coolest Guitar riff scenes ever. Anyway, the same crescendo sounds absolutely stunning on mushrooms. It felt like I was part of the Israelites marching to freedom through the desert and the valleys.......

Nice choices! I love it!
Pink Floyd - Meddle is a Masterpiece. My best friend from Hawaii, his Dad had a vinyl copy and we listened to it. My favorite song was the last song, its like 19 minutes long. Very similar to the "...And the Day Turns to Night" Shpongle track. I could tell Shpongle was inspired by that song.
Electric guitar sounds really cool on psychedelics, especially Jimi Hendrix!

Basically anything psychedelic. It seems that it can be different trip to trip for me. Some trips I can listen to something with a faster tempo while others I need something slow and soothing.

Pop/Rock of any era. Maybe best of 60s and 70s. There is something that comes to mind: Boston - More than a Feeling Jefferson Starship - Miracles George Harrison - My Sweet Lord Village People - Ymca Bill Withers - Lean on Me Credence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate One Cornershop - Brimful of Asha Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song Britney Spears - Toxic (who would've thought)

Yeah that last song is the one, Echoes. I too have it on vinyl, I bought it in 1987, by then already a classic

It's a matter of what feels right at the moment but if I'm not in nature or by a stream I will almost always have music playing when tripping.
The Allman Brothers, Death, Opeth, Meshuggah, Ulver, Mr. Bungle, Miles Davis, Blotted Science, Pink Floyd, Cynic, Primus, Johnny Winter(early), Headhunters, Tom Waits and so on.
Modal jazz/jazz fusion, progressive death metal, southern rock/jam bands is usually what I prefer in the midst of a trip.

Jimi Hendrix always makes my visuals go crazy. I was way past my peak the other night and put on red house and the visuals came back strong. I like most classic rock but I also love reggae when tripping. The Dirty Heads are pretty kickass to trip too also.

Carbon Based Lifeforms is my favorite band to listen to on mushrooms. Emancipator is really good too. William Onyeabor if I want to dance and groove
I only like Shpongle for really strong doses or with other psychedelics

it varies a lot,
if I feel like listening to rock I usually go for stoner/doom or some post punk. for chill electronic music I like psy-dub and future garage, drum n bass for the most energetic trips.
also have a folder full of trippy ambient tracks over 10 minutes long for dmt blastoffs, but I had one of my most memorable breakthrough experiences listening to DSotM.
last Swans album has earned a special place in my tripping selection too (check out the track I have linked in my sig)

Tipper has been a staple of my journeys for a while. Something about his audio design just tickles my amygdala so well. On the right dose I've experienced synesthesia from Jettison Mind Hatch. Been particularly enjoying more cultural / ethnic styled music lately such as NUMA and Heilung.

I also like a lot of traditional/classical east Indian music, as well as a lot of classical music from the middle east. I really like the depth of percussion and sound as well as the music itself is almost historic. A lot of it sounds like it has been passed down over generations. On psychedelics it has a natural flow to it more familiar feeling to your body and energy than other music.

Think you're the only person I've ever heard of preferring OM's newer stuff. IMO At Giza and VOAM are the best, but they still crush live. I'd probably rather see them than SLEEP at this point.

Mostly Celine Deon chopped and screwed, or Sheryl Crow slowed down 1000%.
But for real probably Olivia Tremor Control--anything super sun-shiny that keeps the spectre of bad vibes away. Beach Boys' Pet Sounds will get anyone's head right.
Edited to add 13th Floor Elevators: obligatory for any head.

Went up to my allotment last Saturday and took mushrooms. We got a fire going, sat back and just tripped. Everything was so green. It was very cold. We went for a walk down to the river to warm up and that was magical. But sat in my camping chair, back in front of the fire, with four layers on and a blanket, a bird was singing in the trees, about 50m away. It sounds just like the bird at the start of Cirrhus Minor by Pink Floyd. It was really loud, and at times felt like it was right inside my head. Was an awesome night. Particularly walling home peaking in twilight. It felt like I was walking through tunnels of trees. And all the cars looked like they’d been polished lol

for mind trip to go deeper I'd go for Pink Floyd.
but anything from psychedelic music classics goes well. OTT, Shpongle, Pink Floyd would be my top3 i guess.

Oh man, if you want a song, that leaves you speechless, you have to listen to "Stavroz - The Finishing"
Every time I trip, I get giggly, when I start this song. It absolutely blows my mind. That saxophone.... I wish I could hear it again for the first time.
Also "Nils Andreas - une simple histoire", absolutely beautiful
"Klangkarussel - Time" watch the video!
And most songs from the label Hungry Music Worakles - Salzburg
N'To - La Clé des Champs
Joachim Pastor - Reykjavik

I like Gregory Isaacs and Bob Marley. Their voices TRIP me the fuck out when I'm five grams deep. I also love all the obscure and weird sounds in their music. Here's an example:
Sounds like there's bubbles in there or something. Tripped me the hell out the first time I heard it.

My absolute favorites would have to be Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles.
Runners up include classical, the doors, and any of the music I normally listen to outside of tripping.
