ID Request - SW VIC
    #26697762 - 05/26/20 07:04 PM (3 years, 7 months ago)

Hey guys, it's my first time ever picking, I believe these are gold caps, but just wanted some pro identification before I touch them

Habitat:
Soft soil, growing near ferns, bushes and other damp cover in forest area

Gills:
Light cream brown, slightly attached

Stem:
White, 2-5 mm diameter, ~2-5 cm length

Cap:
Caramel/brown, smooth, ~3 cm diameter, Conic/convex with a slight central bump on some

Spore print color:
Purple/brown (I think, I'm not sure how purple 'purple-brown' it's meant to be)

Bruising:
Bruises blue

Other information:
The bruising only seemed to occur a couple of minutes after pressing the stem, is this because I could only seem to find fairly ones?

Thanks

Those Look To Be Psilocybe Subaeruginosa, Nice Finds

Double Check That They All Bruise Bluish Where Injured/Damaged. (Around The Edges Of The Caps & On The Stems)
