Weed withdrawal sucks. I have to get rid of all the weed in my place or I don't even have a chance at quitting. Luckily with covid I was pretty much forced to stop and haven't touched any now for months. So I guess that's the only real positive of covid for me is that it forced me to quit weed.
Anyway, my advice is to get rid of all the weed, pipes, lighters, everything weed related in your house if you want to quit.

I should add that I have kicked most of the what people would traditionally call "hard drugs" numerous times. I still struggled to stop smoking pot I would make it a few days and then break and repeat that cycle.
I finally became committed enough and I think the process of cutting down made it easier to finally stop and now I don't want to smoke until I feel the time is right.
I will always love the holy herb and I look forward to reintroducing it into my life in a healthy fashion.

After quitting a Morphine Habit that consisted of consuming multiple metric tons of poppy pods/seeds there is no such thing as pain for me. Mushrooms and cannabis have been monumental to recovering from the seizures that followed getting clean.
For me, when it comes to cannabis the higher the CBD the better; THC gets me mad paranoid now.

Yeah true after kicking heroin multiple times on my own I had an idea of my own fortitude going in.
Still it has been more difficult then I anticipated.

Most drugs will show you more of yourself, and how you think, what, why, etc.
The key is using drugs that don't fucking kill you when you're done with them, and learned what you needed to learn.

Smoked for 20 years non stop. Now days I dont smoke all the time. Took 1 year to adjust in that. Keep your self busy with activities. Worst thing that I can do to my self when cutting weed out of my diet is to drink coffee. Makes the sleeping much more harder! And eating too. CBD helps alot! So does yoga, better high anyway than weed imho! excercise a lot and force feed the breakfeast for 2 weeks to get the natural hunger in there.
You can do this! I did

Thanks for this thread. I’ve been smoking pretty hard for the last 6 months or so after a 7 year break from all psychoactives. Since the stay home order, I started smoking once or twice a day and eating a couple gummies, usually in the evening. I’ve noticed recently that I’ve had no dreams, so after reading this thread, I didn’t smoke yesterday. Last night, still no dreams. I didn’t smoke today. Felt pretty lousy most of the day, but I’m thinking I really need to back down. I love dreaming, so that’s my primary motivation. Being clearer minded will be nice too! Very good info!!

Quiting is like breaking up with a hot chick. Its going to hurt and you'll have the urge to return and hit that again, but you have to keep fighting until the urges die down.
