123-125F just depends on the agar formula. I used to use it for pasteurization for years but I have moved on to simpler methods. Also I didn't like wasting vac seal bags to pasteurize.

Ufo finally looking decent day 23.

Wg lc day three.

By far the fastest lc Iβve used. Too many variables though. Itβs the youngest one Iβve used, different recipe than usual, and also the first time I tried no prep wbs jars.

PF redspore...I took wedges to transfer when I just had lots of little puffbals along the streaking pattern...now that the parent dish has grown out a bit, the B wedge region is showing considerable bluing...and growing very slow and peculiar. The A wedge region is fast growing but very thin mycelium.
Never seen mycelium act the way this last batch is behaving...I'm wondering if I got a bad batch of MEA mix or if I didn't carmelize the sugars in it. This stuff seems to be struggling.

1st flush coming in, didn't flip lid in time. I feel like the bare spot in the middle is due to condensation dripping there from the lid bowing. It's noticably wetter than the margins. 5th flush

5th flush
I think these guys are ready for the compost pile

Bald spot might be from excess moisture causing insufficient evaporation in that spot... could be bacteria lurking, or even something more sinister: I'd definitely give it some air and avoid misting

I never mist really the top coat well misted, then subsequent dunks seem more than enough in my case. That exact spot had a shoebox on top. Smells like fresh mush, fingers crossed

Likewise, a shoebox sitting on top could cause uneven or insufficient evaporation in the presence of excess moisture... was there water pooling in the area?
