Good evening once again my fellow borts and beauties and all the loveys in-between. How are all yall pubbers feeling tonight?
I'm looking to invest in a good safe. The one I currently have can be opened by shaking it upside down while continuously trying to re-open to the latch so Clearly that's not even a safe worth buying...which I already did..hah.
Any good hearts here that could give me a good brand name or something to look into? Thanks again.

I spent 20 minutes looking for the model number of the Sentry safe I had but cant find the fucking thing anywhere on the internet lol.
But the Sentry safes that have both combo dial and key are really decent for the low price. The key on mine had 3 pin edges so it would make it a little harder to pick open, plus youd need the combo to get into it along with the key.
Stay away from the little fire chests they make tho for anything other than documents/keepsakes. You can pick that thing open in under 5 seconds. Ive picked it open with pocket knives, hair pins, tooth picks, popsicle sticks, etc. Basically if you can fit it inside the key hole and put upward pressure, itll open

Liberty safes are great. Can't go wrong.
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

This is true. What is OP trying to keep safe? Long guns or a passport?

What I have heard about safes is that you want to make sure the safe really is fixed to something. If it's really hard to break into but someone can just carry it off, then they have all the time they want to get into it. And even if they can't get into it, you still don't have your stuff.

Yeah I'd get something big shimmied into a tight spot like a closet. Or put it beneath the floor boards. Make sure the load isn't too much for your floor either.

Yeah you'd really want it installed on a load bearing wall

Ideally you use concrete anchor bolts to the floor. Safes have purpose placed holes in the bottom for it.
