I think voting is a waste of time and a silly way to lie to yourself and to be lied to. It almost annoys me when people try to say that voting is important and that i really should register to vote. Can you convince me otherwise? Am I retarded? Or am I too realistic in a way that is too truthful and brute fact for society to handle, that I don't want to participate in a supertisious ritual called voting?

i agree with most of that, but i think voting is effective on a smaller scale say like voting to put in a stop light at a dangerous intersection.. but when it comes to politicians, yeah its a total charade

If voting made a difference they wouldn't let us do it.

Voting have to be counted. Voting creates job
I've actually been a vote counter before. wasn't a bad job. Well paid for what i did.
As for if it's worth voting, i don't know. I'm highly sceptical but i must admit that when i was a counter most people did vote for one of the two big parties. With that in mind i have talked with people and i think the bigger issue is that people are too afraid to 'waste their vote' to not vote for their preferred candidate between the big two. It's a self perpetuating issue and until people stop fearing the opposite side getting in and actually acknowledging what others have to offer nothing will happen. People are typically lazy by nature too. Most people use shit bank accounts for example. I'm one of them but i must admit that i stupidly have two super accounts but i'm too lazy to combine them at the moment. Educating one's self on what each party has to offer is a hella task for the average person with little payoff for most people.

If voting didn't matter the GOP wouldn't do everything they can to suppress votes.
That alone should be all the evidence one needs to understand how important voting is.

I don't follow politics, nor do I care enough to. So there is no reason for me to vote if I have no idea who I'm voting for and why. I treat politicians as I would celebrities. Don't care.

The wealthy don't waste their time driving to the voting booth, instead they just buy off BOTH parties.

Yup. I feel exactly the same.

I have only voted once in my 37 years of being able to. I will vote this time. I know it seems futile and it's easy to get really depressed and all that shit, but it does count. Even for your own self satisfaction. So what if the reptilian baby eating Illuminati mind controllers from other dimensions are in control, you should still vote.
