Hey everyone. This is my 2nd find and am feeling more confident in what to look for now. Stumbled across quite alot of these guys and there was more there when i left but didn't want to be greedy.
Habitat: ACT Region. Among alot of pine trees
Gills: Ranging from Beige/tan colour to a dark brown colour on the older specimens. Some blueing within gills
Stem: Most are fairly thin with a couple of very thick ones. Stem is a white colour with blue staining. Older specimens stem is very blue. Stems are quite tough and don't break apart easily. A couple of specimens seemed to have less bruising on the stems so i have put them in the "unsure" pile for now (see the 2 close up photos taken indoors for the ones im unsure of)
Cap: The colour of the caps is considerably lighter then the last batch i found. Some blueing on most of the caps
Spore print color: Will post spore print in 24hrs
Bruising: Blue bruising some more then others
Other information: These specimens were found in a new location and appeared different in colour then the previous batch. Lighter caps, they looked slightly older and a little more weather beaten. Have put a few specimens aside to see if the blueing becomes stronger and if not then i will throw out. These are in the photo with the written text "Unsure?"

Thanks so much for your help

Most look like P. Subs to me. The older drier ones can throw you off due to the discoloured gills. The 3d blue on the stem and bluing cap edges give it away.
As for the ones labelled under ? More pics of the gills are needed.

These are the gills of the specimens labelled "unsure". They have been in the dehydrator for about 20 minutes but look mostly the same

I think these are also Psilocybe subaeruginosa. But yeah, if you are still in doubt, take individual close up shots of all features, preferably in outdoor lighting, since that indoor light tends to give the picture a monochrome appearance which makes it more difficult to distinguish the more minute features.
Canberra is a nice city by the way. Unusual with its design, but green and peaceful. I especially remember a very good Vietnamese place where you could get all-vegan faux "duck" and "chicken", it was so f**kin tasty!

Hoping a few more people might chime in and put my mind at ease If they werent subs im guessing they would be galerinas?, but these didnt have a skirt or annulus.

THE skirt IS the annulus.
I vote that you have subs there mate. I agree with taking some shots with natural light.

Let's put it like this - a skirt is always an annulus, but an annulus isn't always a skirt.

Yep, that's the one - it was in a part of town called Dickson if I'm not entirely mistaken. Generally you have a very high standard of Asian-styled restaurants in Australia. Now I'm getting really hungry and thinking that the 20 hour flight time from Europe isn't really that much, lol. And I believe Norway and Australia are going to make a sort of open borders-deal so... yum. Maybe early next year.

I have already dried them all out, which now seems a little premature :/ The closeup photos i posted were of the mushrooms that displayed the least amount of blueing as those are the ones i was unsure of. Lesson learnt, next time ill take better photos displaying the characteristics of subs.I feel pretty sure they are subs based on the amount of blue bruising, the cap colour is what has thrown me off.
Out of interest though am i correct in thinking that no skirt means its not a galerina? What other lookalike could it be?
Had Aulac a month or two ago it was great. Greasy monkey is great for burgers/pizza.
You guys are great!

I believe that not all galerinas have a skirt/annulus. Those look like subs to my amateur eyes though. On here somewhere there is a pic of subs vs galerinas when they're dried, maybe you could compare to put your mind at ease. I sent you a PM
