It’s moments like this when I wish I had a picture of someone with a blotter stuck to their forehead.

I use the lemon method as I have found the lemon activates the enzymes in the liver to breakdown and take in the fill amount of active ingredients and there for I get a longer lasting ride , sometimes up to 9 hours

Your metabolism is fucking weird! Most of us probably experience the tea for like 2-4 hours I'd guess.

Yea I was thinking that too. Even just consuming straight mushrooms, I've yet to have a 9 hour experience

And if anything, I’d say using lemon in the tea reduces the length of the trip, not vice versa. Intensity goes mental, but length, shorter.

I've experimented with this and boiling/simmering the mushrooms for a while definitely gets more actives out. There's no reason to be concerned about reducing potency as psilocybin isn't damaged by boiling temperature water, if anything it's best to give it a good blast to make sure you get all of the good stuff when making tea. If you're just steeping them then you'll have to give it at least 2 steeps.
