Habitat: These mushrooms were found In a eucalyptus forrest along side a creek, in a reasonably steep valley located in the southern hills of Adelaide. Most were procured from beneath a shrub which had rather large thrones. They sprouted in between the heavy foliage. Others grew beneath a fallen log. these also grew from heavy foliage. The past few days there has been heavy rain.
Gills:
in some parts creamy brownish white, but mainly a light brown colour. The gills are attached to the stem. However, the gills seem to dip slightly befote connecting to the stem
Stem: 2-4cm stem length, 3-7mm aprx stem diameter. the majority of the stem is stained brown (I assume from the soil) but tends to be a white colour towards the top of the stem. It is also worth noting how the stem catches light. It seems to shine similarly to how silk would. The stems are solid, although can be squeezed with a small amount of pressure.
Cap: The caps range in size from about 1.5cm to 4cm in diameter. The colour of the caps starts off in the centre as a dark brownish orange. As you move out from the centre of the cap the colour begins to fade to a lighter brownish orange until the outside edge of the cap which is a creamy white/very light brown colour. Some of the mushroom caps are slimey to the touch, almost like a thin mucus film. Some others however have an almost rubber like texture. The caps with the mucus like film are also quite rubbery, Just with a layer of slime. The caps are spherical, but only slightly. They are also convex in nature.
Spore print color: Front face of print:

Back side of print:

Bruising: No visable bruising.
Other information: This is my first experience attempting to Harvest psilocybin mushrooms. I'm now aware I should have cut them at the stem rather than up rooting them.

Unfortunately, I don't think they're psilocybin-containing mushrooms. I assume this because of the lack of blue bruising, the browny colour of the gills, and the colour of the stem.
I'm relatively new though and unsure of the species that grow in SA, so I could be wrong.

Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it considering this is my first post here
I've read more since and think you may be right. I'm still waiting on a spore print, hopefully that'll give me some more definitive answers into it's species.
