This is my first time posting here, apologies if it's not in the right location. New to mycology/mushroom hunting, think it's pretty fascinating though, great time for new hobbies
I went hiking yesterday in a national park west of Melbourne. Specifically was hiking in a gorge. I only saw 2 of these specific mushrooms on the 3 hour hike despite looking at every mushroom I could find!
* Habitat: was on the side of the gorge, sloped land. quite brushy? area. lots of grass around and decaying matter from trees, twigs, leaves, etc. Was really wet in the gorge, I should've worn better shoes as my feet were soaked by the end. also accidentally threw one of my boots into the creek but thats another story wish I got a picture of the exact habitat. There are photos of elsewhere/nearby in the gorge. The trees were all australian natives i assume. * Location: national park west of melbourne * Gills: * Stem: I didn't dig it out of the ground sorry. * Spore print color (if you have time): looks browny/purplish/maroon * Scent of the mushroom: uhhhhhhhhh mushroom? lol * Color that the mushroom bruises when damaged: turned pretty blue I guess * Anything else you might find important: the caps looked like they were two shades of caramel?
example of a similarish location (different mushrooms)
there was a bit more green grass where I found the mushrooms im trying to identify.
if you zoom in on this you can kind've see how the cap was like two shades of caramel?

2-5 are Psilocybe subaeruginosa
edit: the 1st picture is not a Psilocybe, post pictures of the gills and stem and we will see what they are.
