Need help confirming ID of Pans!
    #26693032 - 05/24/20 04:20 PM (3 years, 8 months ago)

So this is my first post here. I am new to magic mushroom hunting but I have been doing my research these past few weeks, trying to become as informed as possible. I recently went to my buddy's property where he keeps his horses, and I found a BUNCH of mushrooms in the horse dung and hay bales. I picked a bunch that looked like Pan Subbs/Cinctilus, and I'm fairly certain I found some Psathyrella(not sure exact species) mixed in there. I gathered most of them to take them home and do spore prints. The mushrooms that I was fairly certain were Subbs gave me JET BLACK spore prints, almost like some drew them with black ink. Here are some pictures of the prints/shrooms.

I'm fairly certain these are subs as they fit the description, gave me the spore prints in the photos, and I found them in horse poop/rotting hay. I just want someone to confirm this.
My predicament is that I found another patch of mushrooms that look almost exactly like the other ones I found, but they have wavy gills, they have a smoother cap texture and a darker color. They look exactly like Pan Foe. but they gave me a black spore print. Here are the prints and a comparison picture between Mushrooms A(believed to be Subbs, left) and Mushrooms B(right).

The prints of the second mushrooms aren't JET BLACK like the first ones, but they are still completely black, no brown or purple can be seen. I would like someone to confirm the ID of both patches of shrooms.
Thanks for the help,
-Drako
