Had a good run... now bad luck

Not really looking for advice. I just wanted to share my bad luck here. I've done two separate grows previously and everything went smoothly, no issues at all and bountiful supply. Now I decided to double my grow size by prepping 10 jars instead of 5. Here we go.

Most of my other jars were covered in white mold. I have one jar left that will probably fuck out soon. I ended up throwing the whole jars away. I think I know where I went wrong, either the verm layer was too narrow or I didn't steam them long enough.
Then there's this guy:
Thinking I'm going to crumble to a shoebox see how it goes. If it doesn't work, well I've got plenty shrooms to last me a good while.

I have no more supplies yet for any more grows. Used up all my syringes. I do have two homemade syringes which I don't have much hope for. Time to invest in a pc and get good at agar.

Don't overthink agar, treat it as a fun activity, be concise in your approach and try to be as clean as you can. It takes practice to get better but it is very easy to be successful and even a small amount of success can propel your cultivation forward.

not really much of a superise to me tho if your just taking spores and shooting them in the grains. i bet if you use agar you would have much better results. i mean ya spores to grain will work but it is also more risky and is a complete gamble. i think your previous grows were ok cuz you just got lucky. but if you want real control over your future endevours. my advice is to use agar first so that way you know for sure you have a clean strong culture before going to grain. that combined with proper sterile technique and proper grain and then bulk substrate preperation will greatly increase your chances of sucsess.
again im just making a guess here based on the amount of times that i have seen similar things posted without including the information about the methods and procedures in which these results were achieved from in the first place. so if im wrong as to your process of this and previous cultivation attempts please be more specific
best of luck to ya😃 but if you want to remove luck from the equasion use agar👍
