Hey everyone,
Found a couple on a bush walk in mount Macedon. They all have curved light brown caps which have tinged blue since picking. I have just cut off the caps for a spore print. I don’t have a dehydrator so was just going to put in the fridge in a paper bag.
Habitat: Found this in Wood chip undergrowth just along the walking track on the mount.
Gills: Light brown colour, already brushing blue.
Stem: White stem, fairly sturdy
Cap: Curved caramel cap. Tinged blue since picking.
Spore print colour: Looks kind of a dark brown / black
Bruising: BluE

Bet they smell good too ay
You can put them out open on a paper bag near a fire or something for a bit, I haven't tried it yet but that's advice I've been given.

I put mine in the oven at 50*C with the fan on (thermometer in the oven to confirm temp). Dried them out in a couple of hours. Then I crushed them and put them in a ziplock bag and in the freezer.
I have read that should work fine but i have yet to try them so I dunno if they have lost any potency.
