Sentiment can earn you a title of Beautiful Dreamer but in reality love doesn't conquer in a tennis match.

Pure emotions last forever, you just tend not to notice.
When love is found inside, you don't look outside, that is enlightenment.
We fear a lack of love more than pain.

That makes sense, more than the threat of pain, we fear being shunned by the group we identify with.

Realizing you are a part of God.
...This I believe, but honestly the "realization" of it is perplexing, how can someone as dumb as me, with a body of dirty natural humors, be not only close to God, but an extension of him?

AH, but God does not admit of parts. God is ONE. This is the conundrum of not dwelling in mystical unity. We think of ourselves as you have depicted in less than glowing terms. This is also a conundrum. We each think of ourselves as an individual 'wave' on the 'Ocean' which is God. We arise from the Ocean, move along our life-span, and then we diminish and shrink back into the Ocean whence we arose. Meanwhile, we are so busy being temporarily separate waves (horizontal axis) that we fail to be aware that we are simultaneously the very Ocean Itself vertical axis). We miss the Eternal Essence because of the very distracting temporality of existence, and all the while fearing the end of our temporality.

This, I believe, is mostly because we tend to identify so strongly with being this body that we have the ability to control and move about. Which we are not. At all.
I find it strange that it's so easy for us to understand that mind controls body - we think to stand up, send the control signals, and the body stands.
Yet most of us believe sickness is not entirely caused by the mind. Somehow we reverse the process here, and think those tiny little physical bugs we spy under the microscope are what cause all our illness, which in turn causes our mental suffering.
But this is entirely backwards...

God is like... this space...
You can go there without psychedelics. History is young, in fact, going there may be a kind of evolution.
Evolve your ideas. I think there are levels that define the psychobiological system humans are embedded in.
I feel I made it there. I'm not aging.
