Black Contamination in brf jars or spore clumps?

Can anyone confirm what this is? They're only growing on the mycelium patches and no where else. It's only been 3 days since inoculation.

Update: its been about 5 days in quarantine, the size of the supposed contam remains the same size, and is actually only stuck to the surface of the jar as i can see when i look from an angle.
1. is it possible this may just be spore clumps as its in the location of the inoculation point? Or can anyone confirm this is actually contaminated? (All other 8 jars from the same syringe didn't have this problem, and all are very white and seems to be healthy.)
2. If this is indeed contaminated, should i toss all the other 8 jars that were inoculated with the same syringe as well?

Thanks for the reply- Do you think i should keep the other jars that seems to be healthy, even though i suspect the syringe may have been contaminated?
Is it possible if the spore syringe was contaminated, that it would only contam 2 jars and not the other 8 jars?

The secret is all spores are naturally contaminated to some extent cause they grow in open air. When you use them to inoculate anything there's a dice roll that contamination will grow.
Growers will put a drop from a syringe on 12 different agar plates and use streaking techniques to have lots and lots of dice rolls.
Here is some great info on agar if you wanna learn more about it which I highly recommend.
You can continue to watch the black spot in the jar. Learning about contams is good for experience also. Just when/if it comes time to dump it make sure to open it outside if possible.

Thanks for the great explanation, that makes alot of sense. I definitely will start with agar soon and currently learning more about master culture slants as well, just purchased the TMC.
As for the black spot in the jar , I have a feeling that its not contaminated as the spots has not grown at all ever since ive noticed it. I also noticed those 2 jars with black spots are colonizing very fast compared to the other 8, most likely due to injecting more spores which might've resulted in those black spots, which looks very similiar to the large black clumps in the spore syringes.
However, i will still toss them out and wont open them just to be safe.

It's safe to open them you just don't wanna woft any unwanted contam spores around the house and mess with your future work.
The jars are still perfectly fine to reuse cause they'll get pressure cooked. Just dump them in your trash outdoors. Still could have watched them for longer to see what would have happened but I'm investigative like that.

I still have them in quarantine , but i'm pretty sure its not contam anymore , as the spots never grew at all and the black clumps are only stuck to the surface of the jar with mycelium growing behind it.
The mycelium looks very healthy, Here's an updated pic.

I may just agree with ya there. Granted it looks odd but it's not growing. The jar looks healthy and is finishing nicely. Once its consolidated And birthed I'd just see if that spot rinses off gently or maybe even delicately scratch at it with a clean spoon if not.
So what's your fruiting plan you got a shotgun fruiting chamber made or doing some kinda box with coir thing?

Yeah it definitely looks odd, which is why i'm still deciding if i should play it safe than be sorry. Hoping more people can confirm what it actually is.
As for the fruiting chamber, ill probably use the existing SGFC since my previous cakes are on their 2nd flush now, and will probably be finished by the time these are ready to birth.
Or, i might try crumbling up the cakes into CVG bulk substrate into a mini - monotub , just to get some experience and start on a new FC.

Thanks Rum~ I always appreciate your help and feedback. I've just started experimenting isolating on agar and expecting to g2g and have a good amount of spawn ready in the next few months. Will definitely be updating a lot more posts soon.

Cake turned out good. It actually might have been spores.
