The police were in my yard with dogs/ARs/insane * 1
    #26689459 - 05/23/20 12:40 AM (8 days, 18 hours ago)

There was an armed robbery/high speed chase and one of the people they were looking for was supposedly saw around my house. I was looking out the window with the lights off, and the cop saw me and pointed his light in my window. I turned on my light so hed see im just looking. I saw them in my neighbors house, thought I heard knocks at my other neighbors sooooo I ditched all my petri plates and almost flushed my stuff.

I looked suspicious as hell to them, since I was lookikg out the window you know? I thought they were going to try and get inside, and come in even if I said no... holy shit!!! Goes to show how quickly things can go shitty really fast.

Don't let them no-knock raid you while attempting to defend yourself in the process.

I probably didnt need to do that, but I freaked in the moment. If they though I was the guy, or I wqs hiding him, theyll come in... look around. That was too much. Was I in the wrong freaking out?

You're not wrong at all for getting freaked with police around your house, especially when it's not you they're looking for.

I was being partially a smart ass with my comment. Lots of no-knock raid BS going on with innocent people getting shot and killed, only to find out it's the wrong house after the fact. It happens way, way more common than police are held accountable for. This is not a police bashing post at all, just an observation based on available data.

Oh I understand. Ya bud, it was intense. My gf said there were literally 6 cops, two with dogs staring at my window at one point. I felt like there was nothing I couldve done. I looked suspicious to them, but whos not going to check out all the commotion. They were stoppijg every single car, it looked like something from a movie.

There were atleast two, and they found 1. It just goes to show how easy it is to get in trouble. If they just busted in my house, looked for him and found illegal stuff, I get Id get in trouble and thats the it. I was quite scared.

Nope! But they DID investigate themselves, and they've found they've done nothing wrong!
