How dry does WBS need to be?
    #26688734 - 05/22/20 05:25 PM (3 years, 8 months ago)

I've switched away from oats, which I spent many months learning to get perfectly dry. Now, I have made my first round of WBS jars. I left them in the strainer for about 35 min. If they were oats, they would be way too fucking wet.

My question is, does it matter for WBS if they're wet? Should I go back to 24 hour drying sessions??

WBS may appear wet if you followed foomans tek. Boil water alone, then turned off the heat hen dumped your wbs to soak for 20 minutes, then drained and strained for 35 minutes. This is how mine look and come out ok, should dry out a tad after PCing.

Is this how you did yours?

Wbs is usually Ok to load slightly wet.

After the pc it can take a day or two and a couple shakes but it’ll absorb the extra moisture.
