If you actually look at the data, smoking cigarettes appears to be the most effective “treatment” for preventing serious complications of covid. It may even be effective at preventing infection. Cigarette smokers are significantly underrepresented in covid hospitalizations compared to the general population.

Seems like it based on the rates of smokers being hospitalized with covid.

I read a couple weeks ago that in France they are encouraging hospital staff to wear nic patches

25% of French citizens smoke but only 5% of ICU patients in France are smokers. It’s pretty remarkable data.

Those are pharmaceutical companies. Do you have a problem with fentanyl as a medication? It works very well and has been used in hospitals for decades.
