Most the mountain goats I met were mad chill. They smelled like shit and were covered in dingleberries tho. I saw some good climbing. I also saw a mom and baby where the baby walked itself into a spot it couldn't figure out how to get down from and cried a bunch and I think it even fell and slid till then the mom got to it and lead it down into the valley.

They can be creepy as fuck, at least the ones up here
One time last year I was hiking alone, passed treeline and a group of them appeared out of nowhere and followed me for a couple miles, staying about a hundred yards behind and staring at me with those weird sideways eyes of theirs
They felt like the spawn of Satan waiting for me to fall n hurt myself so they could kidnap me

I’ve seen one climb a tree faster than someone can shit their pants and another climb a steep mountain slope like the billy goat in OPs video.
They have no problem eating you alive, starting with your cock & balls and intestines while your screaming to god for mercy.
All casual like the way a dog eats from a bowl.

That’s what I was worried about was them attacking me, there was like at least 15 of them so I wouldn’t have stood a chance
Luckily I guess they decided I wasn’t gonna fall n get hurt cuz at some point they just disappeared, that was also really creepy

When I went to camp in the desert once, a few friends and me split off from the group, set up camp and then wondered off to find peyote. After a while of looking, and a tiny goat following us, we decided to go back. We could hear what sounded like a party at the camp, everyone going wild, yelling and having a good time.
Turns out that when we got there, all there was were goats... Their bleeting sounded so much like someone screaming, having a good time I was sure it was some of the people from our group. Creepy stuff. They had great milk though.

I was a like 12-13 when it happened. I got this goat and it was just awful it broke one of my front teeth out and busted my nose I had to get a fake tooth put in. The goat had no remorse so I had him turned into pepperoni..

Mountain goats always amaze me.
Imagine the evolutionary pressure that exists for their climbing skills. Like, the consequence for being very slightly less good at climbing is instant death. A given mountain goat is either fucking spectacular at climbing shit, or fucking dead, no middle ground.
I'd be curious to know what adaptations in their body enable them to climb like that and stick to the side of cliffs like they do. I wonder if they're thinner than other goats, or if they can shift their center of gravity towards whatever side is facing the wall, for example.
